    Contact RSP for availabilityLos Angeles, CA -- Ida Ljungqvist is the 50th woman and first African to win the Playboy Playmate of the Year award. Ida received the prestigious award from Hugh Hefner’s hands in a ceremony held at The Palms Hotel Casino in Las Vegas Saturday (May 2). Ljungqvist was born in Tanzania to a Swedish father and a Tanzanian mother. She was discovered by 2007 Playmate of the Year Sara Jean Underwood at a Bebe clothing boutique on Rodeo Drive.
